    1 Joachim_Otahal: could you also try installing [http://build.openvpn.net/downloads/releases/openvpn-install-2.3.5-I601-x86_64.exe openvpn-install-2.3.5-I601-x86_64.exe] and on top of that [http://build.openvpn.net/downloads/releases/tap-windows-9.21.1.exe openvpn-install-2.3.5-I601-x86_64.exe]? Those two should fix all known issues in OpenVPN <-> tap-windows6 interaction (e.g. [https://github.com/OpenVPN/tap-windows6/issues/3 this one]).

    33Some of the funkiness you've encountered could have been caused by multiple installations of OpenVPN, tap-windows and tap-windows6 on the same computer. In particular installing 32-bit and 64-bit versions side-by-side or in a row ''may'' cause issues. Uninstalling old versions before installing the new ones usually helps.
