Description

OpenVPN 2.5.1. for Windows x64 (Community EditionOpenVPN-2.5.1-I601-amd64.msi):

openvpn-gui.exe throws an error if the number of config files in the config file folder exceeds 2 to the power of 8 (4096). The program stops working then from the command line and via GUI. We are using the complete (TCP)server list of NordVPN, which has 5.992 servers (and files) as of February 25th.

Edit: 2 to the power of 12 (4096)

This was also openend as github issue for openvpn-gui, where it belongs

so having a duplicate ticket here is not needed.

Selva is working on it, over in the gui issue.
