Description

disclaimer: I have no logs to present. Logs go dark, and there are no iOS Analysis to show the crash. I just have the below behavior to go on.

1) phone connection is FINE until going to sleep for a few minutes?
2) phone failed to reconnect after wake with no vpn status icon.
3) after opening the app to investigate, the app displayed an error popup letting me know that there was an error connecting to the selected profile, but did not attempt a re-connection on its own.
4) after clicking retry on the error popup, the connection worked fine.
5) no logs were present for this error (see below).

The reason I believe it crashed is because the logs STOPPED logging anything after the previous connection EVENT: CONNECTED. There were no network state detection events, or any sleep/wake events. The next log entry was -----OpenVPN Start-----. I believe there was an event that caused the app to crash silently. This start message only appears for me when I open the app after a restart, or after stopping all connections and force closing the app.

iPhone 6s 128gb
iOS 12.0 (official)
OpenVPN Connect 3.0.1

please investigate.

POPUP text: "There was an error attempting to connect to the selected server" (cancel/retry)

I'm experiencing the same behaviour 1-2 times per day.

I don't see any log entries and no crash reports in Settings->Privacy->Analytics->Analytics Data either.
