Description
DNS sometime doesn't work in Windows XP. One some computers, this happens 50% of the connection attempts.
When it happens, the DNS servers provided by the 'push dhcp-option DNS xyz' option is shown correctly by a ipconfig /all
I have seen this problem being mentioned a number of times in the openvpn mailing lists, but I have never found a solution to the problem. The problem seems to date back to at least 2.0 betas.
I have only been able to test this with Windows XP, not Windows Vista/7.
The only work-around that I have found to actually work, is to have a route-up script run 'ipconfig /renew'.
