There is a ​fork of openvpn-build that contains files and instructions for packaging openvpn and easy-rsa for Debian- and RPM-based distributions. This repository is used for creating the official OpenVPN packages and can be cloned as follows:

$ git clone ​https://github.com/mattock/openvpn-build.git

Please refer to debian/README and rpm/README for details. In the future the packaging files might get be merged with the official ​openvpn-build or ​openvpn repositories.
