Username with space, error message

Description
I try to type username with space (like Active Directory). authentication failed.
Error during authentication : user not found in ldap
OpenVpn? : V2.4 RC1

When testing on my setup a username with space ("test user") works without problems. Your problem is probably on the openvpn server and the method you are using to authenticate.

if you still think it is the client please provide a log from a config with verb 4 so we can see what username is send to OpenVPN from the UI.

that log shows that the username is correctly sent to OpenVPN. I am almost certain that the problem is on the server side.

how did you start openvpn, on which os and how did you enter the username?
And there is no OpenVPN Connect 2.4RC1 version.
