Description
Hello,
I have been using openVPN for 2 days now to connect myself to my server back in France (I am now located in Hong Kong).
It worked fine until today.
The system tells me that the "connection timed out", then it tries to connect again, fails again and it goes on an on the same way.
I have not changed anything in the setup.
I notice that before the first attempt of connexion, it shows:
"Socket Buffers: R=[8192->8192] S=[8192->8192]"
Could this be the reason of my problem?
Thank you for your help,
BR,
Ronan
ps: please note that I am a newbie here, IT knowledge close to minus 100
Connection issues from China to Europe can easily be caused by the great chinese firewall... so unless you have "premium IP" Internet, that's more where I'd look. Sorry.
(The Socket Buffers message ist just informational - "timeout" really means "nobody is talking to me")
This is not really an openvpn bug, so should be discussed on the openvpn-users lists or in the openvpn forum.
