Couldn't connect the VPN (Auth_Fail)

Description

I use the latest version of openvpn and a config file(.ovpn) file created from portmap.io. Now I can't connect the VPN with config file. It displays the below message

  • AUTH: Received control message: AUTH_FAILED
  • SIGUSR1[soft,auth-failure] received, process restarting

Please help me to sort out this issue cause my university project's deadline is 5th of April 2022.

Resolution: invalid
Status: newclosed

If the VPN provider tells you "AUTH FAILED", you need to get in touch with the VPN provider (= server operator) to tell you why that is happening. We as developers of the software can't know, and we have no relationship with "portmap.io".
