Description

Seen many times since the all-new OpenVPN Connect iOS release (1.2.5), the OpenVPN Connect app looks like it dies, there's no tunnel, nor [VPN] indicator. When (after tunnel/indicator disappearing) opening the app, it appears/behaves as if it was closed and started again.

The log shows the following:

So it appears like the app silently died trying to reconnect at 2018-07-23 21:05:56, then after opening the app, it started again and a new tunnel was established when I switched the knob from Off to On.

Resolution: wontfix
Status: newclosed

A new version of the app is about to be released (v3.0.x) and it is currently being tested as beta in Testflight.

Please, test again with that release when out and report any issue directly to ios@….

I am closing this for now.
