- **Updated: Release 2.7**
The stable release of OpenVPN 2.7.0 is now out.
There are a lot of changes and some new features, check out the details here; https://community.openvpn.net/Downloads

- **Updated: mbedtls support**
mbedTLS 4 support is now in 2.7.0.

- **Updated: Release 2.6.18 and 2.6.19**
A small bugfix release version 2.6.18 was released last week, immediately followed by a 2.6.19 because of a small build issue.

- **Updated: forums situation**
We're pretty much ready to replace the old forums with the new one, so we will work on that.
Once that happens all accounts will need to do a password reset. You can then request a password reset to your email address on the new forum to regain access to your account.
There will still be a lot of left over crap from the old forums that was imported, but we will sift through that to keep the good and ditch the bad.

- **community meetup 2026**

  Where: Paderborn, Germany.
  Meeting room: Potentially https://www.welcome-hotels.com/en/hotels/paderborn/events/

- **2.7 security audit**
