Hiya,

for whatever reason, "openvpn --version" on the windows snapshots (see #1302) only shows

Tue Jul 21 13:36:58 2020 OpenVPN 2.5_git x86_64-w64-mingw32 [SSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [LZ4] [PKCS11] [AEAD] built on Dec 23 2019

while local builds "from git" show the commit ID

OpenVPN 2.5_git [git:master/2d5facaa5f6e6ee3+] x86_64-pc-linux-gnu [SSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [LZ4] [EPOLL] [MH/PKTINFO] [AEAD] built on Jul 21 2020

can I have that for windows builds, too, please? This would help figuring out what exactly is being tested if you only have the logs...

Milestone: release 2.5

Removing the milestone as this is much more relevant for non-releases :)
