I followed the exact steps given in the report, but was unable to reproduce the problem on Windows Server 2012r2.

I, in the meanwhile, tested it in an other system (this time in a 32Bit system) and i got the same result. I might test it in other computers if you wish.

what else can i do?

Tks

@samuli: If i can help in any way, say something...

Update: forgot to say that the 32Bit machine is not a Home Edition but a Pro (if this helps in anyway)...

I think debbie10t was able to reproduce this. It could be that Windows 10 is actually not powering off, but hibernating, and thus services that were shut down before, are still shut down after resume. If this is indeed the case, it is questionable if we should do anything about this, as this would be a (surprising) Windows feature, and all services, not just OpenVPN, would be affected.

I will have a look when I get access to a Windows 10 VM.

I got confirmation that disabling "Fast start" in Windows solves this. So this is a feature in Windows, not a bug in OpenVPN.

I can confirm this as well. Disabling "Wind-Oze"'s Fast Startup does solve the problem.

Thank you
