#763 new Bug / Defect
Fix IPv4 routing code to use interface routes where possible
| Reported by: | Gert Döring | Owned by: | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Priority: | minor | Milestone: | release 2.7 |
| Component: | Networking | Version: | OpenVPN git master branch (Community Ed) |
| Severity: | Not set (select this one, unless your'e a OpenVPN developer) | Keywords: | |
| Cc: | tct |
Description (last modified by )
Change platform code across the board to use
dev tun0
or
-iface tun0
etc, so it's much clearer what we want (and the route can be auto-destroyed if the tun0 goes away).
And while at it, get rid of netmasks, use /xx instead. Like, the rest of the civilized world :-)
This is not a bugfix, so not for 2.3 or 2.4, but part of a larger restructuring of route handling for 2.5

We still want this, but it won't make 2.5
