    11This is my naive fix under Windows 8.1 Enterprise:

    3 I was downloading OpenVPN from http://swupdate.openvpn.org/community/releases/openvpn-install-2.3.2-I006-x86_64.exe, removed the virtual ethernet adapter (Tap-windows), and installed the standalone driver installer located at http://swupdate.openvpn.org/community/releases/tap-windows-9.9.2_3.exe
