Description
Hi,
I have just updated openvpn from v2.4.6 (002) to v2.4.7 (001) on my Windows 10 PC. Installation file: openvpn-install-2.4.7-I601.exe
It seems that the TAP-Windows Adapter V9 is not signed properly and does therefore not work under Windows 10. I guess this might also be the reason, that the openvpn services cannot be started.

Windows7-32Bit TAP driver signing seems to be confused...

Hi,
are you waiting for any input from me?
The Windows 7 screenshot shows the same version and date but my screen shot shows a digital signer.

New installers have been pushed to the main download page which may help, please let us know how they work for you:

For me as well.
openvpn-install-2.4.7-I601. The "TAP-Windows Adapter V9" stopped functioning upon upgrade.
openvpn-install-2.4.6-I602. Used to reinstall only the TAp driver. Full functionality was restored.
openvpn-install-2.4.7-I603. Successful upgrade. Thanks

I noticed that openvpn-install-2.4.7-I603 uses the old TAP Driver from 2016.
I hope signing the new TAP Driver version will be successful in the future. :-)

We have a new build out with a new driver with new and nice signatures (2.4.8-I602) - due to the way windows driver signing works, there's two installers now, one for "windows7 and 8" and one for "windows10". But both should work fine...
Can you please re-test and let me know so I can close the ticket?

Since I haven't heard back, and we're at 2.4.9 now (with a win7 and a win10 driver), I assume everything is working well enough and close the ticket.
