    1 I understand this ticket is old, but the issue is still present in the current version of OpenVPN for iOS(3.1.1) using the same ca/tls-auth provisioning without a cert/key defined.  The said config works via .ovpn profile, but fails using .mobileconfig or MDM provisioning to apply same parameters per FAQ referenced in the initial post.

    3 Last entry here asked user for their ovpn config, but I didn't see any follow-up and considering the issue is still not working as represented by the OP and now by me as well, I'm hoping for some insight into why this is occurring.
